seat cable snapped

I have a 1.2 dynamique 02 plate 3 door, the passenger seat wont go forward. The cable seems to have snapped how can I repair it, do I need a new seat?

u mean the tilt function for the three door clios? if so the cable has most probably come off the handle inside the seat upright cover.

it seems to have snapped, it feels freyed like when you snap a brake cable on a bike. How do you repair it?

02 plate may be covered under warranty..

It is a common problem and will require a replacement cable..

yup i had this problem. some otheres have also on this forum. i took it to the garage i bought it off and they took it up to renault. got it back same day no problem. if they refuse to replace it under warranty argue. or try a different renault garage. youll find one that will fix it
