Second hand Gearbox.

Is it worth the risk, i managed to buy one from ebay from a 182 with 15k on it, what are the chances of it being fudged? It's looks clean and have no reason to suspect it's done anymore than 15k, but have not seen the car, Or should i get the one in mine, which is knackered refurbed at great cost (about £300) and meaning i'd have no car for about a week.

if it was me and a i had a 2nd hand box, i'd at least get it pulled apart and checked

Roamer got a box out of a 2week old car, and it was knackered (trilobe had shattered and dropped the needle bearings into the box)
