second question of the day lowering??

  Ph 1 172
okies i am just about to buy lowering springs now i no i want to go 60ml down, but do i need new shocks or anything??

Theoretically no, you don't need new shocks, however what you'll effectively do with 60mm drop is have the shocks under constant compression, which they don't like. Usually the seals will give way prematurely and you'll spring (pardon the pun) leaks.

Ideally you should get some new shocks (I can recommend Koni) that way when you sell the car you can put it back to standard, and flog your uprated gear.

Not to be difficult but I don't recomend Koni infact I don't recomend any as the only decient stuff is so expensive people buy coilovers.

Lowering sprrings wear dampers quicker how muchis like saying how long a piece of string.
