Select first gear

My 172 cup has only got 625 miles (3 weeks old). When selecting first gear it makes clunking noise. Is it possible that the gear box mountings are needing replaced.

Seems a clunk selecting 1st is "standard" on 172. When I first got mine, I was freaked by it, but multiple people said they got it too.
