Serious Vibration On My Valver...

Can anyone help me with this?

Last week i hit an bird at about 90 mph which broke part of my bumper as it went under my car. Unfortunately, there now seems to be serious vibrations coming from the car and i dont know why! Ive got the damaged bodywork tied up pretty good and so i dont think its that but its still there and only really appears when turning left. Ive had it in a garage on a ramp but the mechanic cant see anything wrong with it either!

Does anyone know what this might be?

PLEASE Help!

Fvck me that must have been an Ostrich! I hit a fox once and I had no damage at all (but Mr Fox wasnt too clever).

What sort of vibration? Is it coming back through the steering wheel, or does the entire car vibrate?

It was a pheasant!

The vibration is similar to what your get if your tyre is rubbing on something (grating kind of sound) but i think its getting worse (going to a cracking kinda sound). Its particularly bad when cornering quickly (big load on it) and goes right the way through the car.

I dont think it can be the tracking as it only happens when going left and the wheels were new on 5 days previously without problems. Im going to remove all the arch liners this weekend to see if thats got something to do with it (maybe cxatching tyre) but im not holding my breath.

At a loss......

Sounds very dodgy. Could well be the arch liner. The fixings come out quite easily, so could well have been knocked out by the road kill.

might also be a wheel bearing on the way out, just a coincidence its happened just after the accident.

Yeah, was thinking the bearing - itd probably have the same symptoms as above but it was replaced about 3 months ago. Can only assume they may have monkied it!

Someone mention a c/v joint to me - would that be likely?
