Serv + airbag light returns AGAIN...!

Ok, so after chopping the connector off, soldering the wires and then heat shrinking them tidy, they stayed off for 2 weeks ( bliss ). But now there back. So i just cut the shrink off thinking maybe when moving the seat back and fourth its sretched them or somethings caught it. There both fine, still soldered together nice.

Does anyone have any oher ideas on what it could be now ? Oh, and can this fail M.O.T ?

I have these lights on also as I've changed my steering wheel and everytime I redo the resistors it lasts a couple days n then comes back on so I've stopped bothering, I know that it never used to be an MOT failure from the view that you can't test an airbag without setting it off, when I had my last MOT I asked about any lights on the dash being a failure as I'd heard this was coming in and they didn't have a clue about it, so until it does or if it does I'm gonna leave it on.

Dont you find them annoying though?

Mine went off and it was brill. Clear clocks, no lights. Loved it.

Wonder if maybe the other plug has something to do with it? I dont have a steering wheel fitted, just had these lights come on. Dam thing.

Nah doesn't bug me much anymore cos I'm used to it now and I always switch the ESP off so there's just always lights on my dash!

My service/airbag lights have been on since about 3 weeks after buying the ph2 back in april, went for an MOT
4 weeks ago and sailed through it

Put some black tape over the lights

Why the steering lock operation be included, has nowt to do with safety unless of course it locks mid corner or summat stupid
