service and cam belt change

done about 12,000 miles since last service so its taime to get it done again. should be fine thought.

when is the cam belt due, isnt it 62,000 miles? is that right?

ive got 54,000 on the clock so thought i might aswell get it done same time.

any recomendations of garages in bristol where could get a good price.
or any1 on here that could help ?

I thought it was every 72k or 5 years whichever comes earlier

if your car is a 2002 plate it should have already been done.

hmmm good point. Will have to double check servce history as im not sure. looked through it recentally but didnt see it mentioned. How much is it usually ?

I should think about £400-500 at a specialist. I may be wrong though

the cambelt on my 02 1.2 16v cost me roughly £300 at a local garage i use, cant imagine it would be that different to your 1.6

the 1.6 is a bit more tricky/involved than the 1.2's

i'd rather do a 1.2 put it that way
