service and esp light again!

hi,need some help working out the source of my problem!just had my front passenger abs ring changed as 2 teeth were missing and causing the abs to kick in/pulse through the brake pedal at low speeds,just picked my car up the abs kicking in has gone thank god but the esp and service light came on again when i touched the handbrake,anyone have any ideas if this has anything to do with my original problem or something different? had the diagnostics machine on the car a few times in the past 2 years and cant find any new faults.cheers
