Service light and broken line above the word oil??

This is now happening evrytime i turn the car on. Started this afternoon. Can someone give me advice as to what the problem is here?:dapprove:

you checked your oil level?? is this instead of the wee OOO___ ??

if its low the word oil comes up flashing...

its either, no oil in it, or sensor fault in the oil level indicator!

Was it full?? If so it is a sensor fault!!

As long as the oil level on the dipstick reads 3/4 up between the 2 markings then level is all good and you have a sensor fault. If your oil level just sat above the bottom marking on the dipstick, then top it up and to a nice level. Do you park your car on an uneven surfice?
