Service light

Just had a thought, my car just had a sevice. Its a 3yr service as its only done 11k.

Will the service light come on at 15k or anything?

The service light doesn't tell you when the car is due a service. It will only come on in conjuction with another warning light.

As said the service light isn't a service indicator, its there to indicate a problem with something.

Service intervals should be 24 months not 36 no matter what the milage.

No they shouldn't, 12 months or 12k miles which both imo are far too much.

well mine is serviced every year, i only do about 2-3k a yr.

im happy doing mine every yr.
