Service Light???

My SERV light has just come on. But the orange airbag light has come on at the same time. Is this normal??

I dont have to have it serviced at renault to turn these lights off do I??

Sounds like a fault with your airbag/seatbelt system to me. You'll have to find someone with the diagnostics equipment to wire your car up to a PC to fully diagnose the problem and clear the errors stored in your ECU, and the obvious choice would be a Renault dealer, but you could try other local garages. It'll probably be something simple anyhow, but I personally wouldn't ignore it - afaik, while those lights are on, your airbag systems won't work!

Have a fiddle under the seat/s, the air bag connectors have a habbit of coming loose.

I wont set the bloody thing off will i if i accidently disconnect it??

Just make sure its connected correctly yes?

Mine came on the other day had a fiddle under passenger seat still on (there is 3 under each seat) tried the second 1 under drivers seat and out it went not been back on since
