Service Warning Light - Airbag icon

I was driving to work yesterday and noticed that my Service light was on along with my Airbag icon on my dash. I have a RB 182 Gordini. I have tried turning off the passenger airbag to see if the fault was coming from there but the icon light was still on. During driving to work today it went off for a good 10 minutes then came back on again!

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm going to hook it up to my diagnostic machine tonight to read for faults. Could it just be a loose connection if it keeps going off and on?

Be great to hear from anyone who may have any ideas as i'm a little :S

Mine done the same, and is constantly on now....have tried unplugging and re-plugging connector under seat but as it starts and drives i have ignored it so far as i dont have diagnostics and aint paying renault to touch it lol!

To say for sure what is triggering the lights you need diagnostics... this service can be done for £30-45 by an independent if you do some searching - it doesn't have to go to the dealer

Wiggle the wires under the seat. It's a common fault

Cheers for the sugestions! I will hook it up to my diagnostic machine tonight and see what it says while having a fiddle under the seat and see if that makes a difference.

You'll need a clip or rstuner with airbag module to read the airbag ECU. Theres a few people on here that will do it for £20 depending on where you are.
