My cars due for its second service and ive got a couple of queries before i take it in!!!!

My car has full bodykit (dont think this matters) and 18 alloys (1 tyre needs replacing) and full exhaust system.

What will renault say about the mods??? Renault exhaust warranty was only a year so thats ok i think, opinions?? as for alloys/tyres wot will they say?? Havent got any mods under bonnet so thats ok!! And also do i have to take it to renault for the service to keep the warranty??? oh yeah cars a 1.2 16v dynamique

Renault shouldnt have any problems most dealers dont care.

You can have it serviced elsewhere (assuming they use official bits and they stamp the book) but get a cheap dealership personally as they will update the software and the £ difference might not be that big.

If you get someone (ie not Renault) to do it then Renault will invalidate any claims which are down to the fault of the garage ie if its leaks oil from something the garage messed with during the service then Reault will refuse the claim.

So long as your not having warently work done they they wont care.

If your having warently work done on bits that could be affected by the mods then if Renault can prove the mod is to blame then they can refuse the warently work (although most places wont bother)
