cant decide if i wanna mod my car or not. Obviously it would be nice to have a 172 but that would be costly. Im not to worried about the power cos most the time theres too much traffic to get any speed out my car. What shall I do - mod it or leave it alone and get another car??
a standard Oasis in good nick with a wodge of receipts in a nice little plastic wallet will ALWAYS sell easily cos of low insurance, running costs etc.
** ANY modded lower end spec car is difficult to sell **
ask yourself - if you needed a cheap runabout would you want a mint standard Escort Popular or one with black windows, a huge exhaust and a Cossie spoiler??
pow you would not have done a mod to that car even if i gave you those wheels lol, which i did offer at a very good price. p.s. i just got some clio sport goodies from my mate at reno.I will give you a sticker for your motor so it wont drop in value lol
Wanna try an leave it alone but thats so hard to do lol. Ive seen a few 1.4 16v sports at a fair price - should cost much to insure. Suprised no ones told me just to get a 172 yet
You are right it would prob be a waste of money. Think im gonna just try and save and get a 1.4 16v sport least i can do the engine a bit if i want a bit more power
My 1.4 is staying standard with the long shot hope I can afford to sell it for a valver whilst at university
If you do mod, dont do anything that cant be changed back, just get alloys maybe a back box, other wise itll just make a b**ch to sell and youll get less..
get sum alloys on it, get sum 2nd hand 1s if u want so its alot cheaper, then when u wana sell car just swap wheels back over and sell the alloys that u bought
u cant lose that way m8 and u improve looks a little
