shelf making annoying noise!

  Clio Campus Sport
ever since i built my stealth shelf, the shelf seems to jump and up and down slightly when im driving on slightly bumpy roads, and its making one hell of an annoying noise.
anyone know how to fix it? or had the same problem?

or make it the correct size so it fits flush and slots into place and use the correct thickness mdf;)

My parcel shelf has started doing this since I put my 6 x 9s in. (havent got room for a sub box before any comments, lol. Anyway, have you seen the black, sticky back foam patches you can buy? They're surface protectors or something. Anyway, if you put a few of those down either side of the shelf on the plastic bits it sits on, that stopped mine. Also put a couple of em on the plastic on wiper motor cause the shelf can hit that aswell.

well if it is 100% size it aint going to lift up is it;)

no one said 100% just make it roughly as tight as a camels c**t in a sandstorm also you need some overhang at the back so the boot just rest's against it also securing it;)

the shelf isnt completely mdf wood. i mounted the 6x9s on a piece of mdf, and then screwed it onto my existing shelf. so i cant make it fit.
the foam stuff worked but had to use quite a lot of it. no more annoying noise now:D
