Budget, car colour, working by hand ?

well here is my 2p.

Firstly use the 2 bucket method. might seem pointless but its not. Wash part of the car and then leather off/dry with micro fibre. 1 bucket of sudws and the other full of hot water.

I asked the same thing tbh. i think you should go get the following to beign with.

2 Buckets

Wash Mitt (lambswool) such as megs or sonus or even halfrauds

Car wash - Meg's superwah or if your a big spender then get the next gen car shampoo (purple - 1.7L bottle), allthough, in rich's and my opinion its far too strong and does, over time, stip the wax away from the paint, but might be worth getting for a first time wash.

Autoglym Super resin Polish
Autoglym extra gloss protection
A microfibre cloth for drying your car

Autoglym Bumper care (if your like me and have a dynamique or an expression etc etc with black bunp strips.

Megs Foam Applicator pads (for applying the Extra Gloss Protection and the other s**t.

If you have access to a Porta Cable or a "PC" as people refer it to, then lift when polishing will be far far easier and the results will be stunning. Trouble is they aint cheap. MIGHT be able to pick one up from here for £130 in the "other for sale" section of this forum.
