SG9 Forester STi
Did a search and couldn't find anything so...
I bought a short shifter (MBperformance) and it was fitted over the weekend. As I had read on here it's advisable to keep the standard clutch pin and not the one supplied. I honestly can't see how the pin could reduce the throw anymore than the kit has, it's seriously tight!
Only problem is reverse. It's doing my head in! The majority of times I put it into reverse it pops straight back out when releasing the clutch, other times it'll just grind. It does work sometimes but for most of it, it's being stubborn.
Before I rip the thing out, is there something that should've been done when fitting to avoid this or is there any known quick fix?
Thanks!
