Shortening bumpstops!?

I just recieved my 60mm lowering springs today and came to get them out of the box when i noticed a little notice saying you MUST shorten the bumpstops 20mm before fitting? Whats that all about, first ive heard anything like that before :S? Cheers

basically rubber blocks to stop the shock bottoming out, a stanley will sort this

Not needed at all you will be fine with them standard mate.
