Should comething be covering the bottom of the aux belt

cant seem to find the answer, but had a run in with a stick yesterday and has seemed to have broken a couple of areas of my undertray. Something that caught my eye is there doesnt seem to be anything protecting the aux belt from the elements. Am i missing something and there is actually meant to be some form of cover there?

You should have a cover in the arch but as said, I don't think there's anything underneath.

I don't think i've ever seen a car with a cover on the aux belt tbh. I'm sure some cars must have, but out of the 30+ i've owned and 50+ i've worked on I've never seen one.
