always worth a plug change after about 30k lol amazing they made it that long lol, you might see a cleaner burn and better mpg with new plugs, give it a mini service, oil, oil filter plugs and filter clean, always worth it

just read the interval is 70k.

has a full history but no invoice for the parts so my guess wasnt done.

what do you recommend to fit ?

if your car has a service history up to about 70k then it probably has had the cam/timing belt changed. if not then might be worth getting it done asap or you will be needing a new engine/rebuild if the belt snaps

Is there anyway of telling of the cam/timing belt has been changed? As I've recently bought a Clio and from searching through reciepts I can't find one saying its had it done. Its on 67k.

I doubt it has been changed on that mileage as the interval is 72k. If the car is older than 5 yrs it should have been changed irrespective of mileage.

May have been the reason it was sold.

Is it a 172/182 ?

I would say it probably hasn't been changed as Renault don't recomend it until 70k. However If it breaks, your engine will need rebuilding so get it done asap. Will probably cost about £300-£400 depending on where you take it. Also get all the other belts changed at the same time as the front bumper etc has to come off anyway, (Fiddly job). Mine's done 45k but will get it done at about 55-60k (not worth risking).
