basicly as title says should i have a blast myself, am fairly compitant and mate does spray for a garage (bmw) so could do a good job or should i book my car in a get it done professionaly and know im getting a good job?

is it that hard to do, like possability of f**king up or not matching?

Theres always a possibility of it f**king up or not matching.. the money that you spend on primer, paint and laquer, thats probably half the amount for the job to get someone to do it professionally, I done the baseplates and grill on my old saxo and it looked alright.. just the chance you take, costly if it goes wrong though.. If you have the money, I would just pay for it, at least you know its going to turn out right! :)

Bodyshop. If you use rattle cans, it WILL look like you've used rattle cans.

My mate does ford Ka's (the massive bumpers! lol) in his bodyshop and he takes a day. Garages drop them off in the morning and then collect them in the evning.
