Got pulled last night for my fancy plate. Copper asked about my yellow fog lights aswell. He let me off though because he was a Renault enthusiast haha. He told me he'd owned 2 ph1 clios, a ph2 182 and he currently drives a Megane R26. here's me expecting a fine off him and instead he told me, and i quote "my clio was the tidiest one he'd seen in Middlesbrough and to keep up the good work" haha!

Proves not all coppers are knobs

You were lucky! I got pulled this morning for my 3/4 plate and got a fine straight away, not that I'm complaining as it was going to happen one day.

The worst part is he didn't even comment on the car :dapprove:

i was expecting the usual £30 fine and being told to remove them so when I got away with it and got told my cars the nicest he's seen in Middlesbrough he made my day haha

I take it they're the same width as a standard plate just not as high ?
