  1.2 Dynam & 182FFCup
....with knowledge.

Yeah I'm looking into lowering my Dynamique, but first of all, as I know nothing about them, can someone give me some info?

For example, A good make, what you musn't do, how many mm's look good, what dampers I'll need with it, etc etc, everything and anything just so I know what im doing. :D

Thanks!

well your options are springs are coilovers. whats your budget and what do you want ?

40mm minimum drop in my opinion else its not worth while, anything lower than 40mm i would look at changing your dampers aswell as just your springs.

the best bet is coilovers mate, fully adjustable

Really depends what you're using the car for mate, it's a 1.2 so I assume it's not on the limit driving.

Do you have to notify your insurance company upon any lowering?
Budget, i'd say I dont really want to spend over 400
What dampers would I need to look at?

The limit driving? I've no clue what that is, and the lowering is purely for aesthetics.

yes you have to tell insurance mate. mine went up £70 for putting coilovers on, but most peoples is less than that.

well if you got 40mm lowering springs, your standard shocks will be fine really, if you want to go lower then you need to change the shocks. you can buy spring + damper kits that match each other which is the best way really....or....

if you get coilovers, either buy good ones second hand off ebay or here or something. or buy the raceland ones for £160 new. just bare in mind better ones second hand would be better than the raceland ones, but no one really moans about the raceland ones to be fair

get the raceland coilovers imo, thats what i did in my 1.2 and theyre great for the money!!

also for the record, before coilovers, i lowered my car 60mm on standard shocks and they were fine!

also if you dont want to fit them yourself, my services are for sale ;)

On the limit, i.e. on the limit of grip. 40mm lowering springs are crashy on standard shocks, you're not going to get a nicer ride than the standard Renault setup for less than £400 tbh...
