Side mirrors protecting cover?

Anyone know how to take this of cause i need to spray mine cause its got some big mark on it

Lever the mirror glass out, gently.

Then, you can see the clips from the inside. Pop them off with a screwdriver.

Will the mark not polish out??

yeah its pretty deep >.<.. may spray them a different colour while im there

it feels like you're going to break the glass, just do it slowly and be patient. Easy once you have done one and know what to expect

so i just pull out the glass? does the glass clip in then or something?

it's clipped to an ajustment plate (the thing that adjusts the mirror angle). Best thing to do is push the mirror as far into at the car side. Stick a screw driver in on the other side and have a look in. You will see the plate it's attached too. Obviously make sure you prise around that and not the plate itself Took me a while as I was scared to crack mine, but it came off ok in the end.
