Side skirt..

Hi.
Tonight me and my friend was going to take off my front wheels to get to the callipers.
Jacked it up, and the bar was resting on my side skirt. The skirt gave way smashing into pieces.
Just curious if anyone knows the product code.
It's a mk3 Clio.

I'm not 100% sure as I wasn't around at the time.
By the looks of things it was one near the front. The guy's a mechanic so I wouldn't think it was a bodge up.
I don't know whether Renault will give me a new one without charge. I'm pissed off with it to say the least...

& I doubt they will either.
It's just snapped near the front. Scruffy horrible snap.
Renault will charge me silly prices won't they..

if the bottom is like a 182 then there is a so called 'bar' running down the car, basically its the skirt but there are only 2 jacking points on it. about 2'' wide each.
the guy has either had it slip off the jacking point or tried jacking it up on the skirt. accidents happen but 'mechanic' ......you sure?
