Sidelights

Hi guys,

I am looking to change the sidelights on my 172 to some blue ones and was wondering if anybody could reccomend me some?

Thanks very much - presumably the more expensive the bulb the better they are? So 501 W5W is the correct fitment for Clios?

I have White LED sidelights, and they have a blue tinge to them,
look pretty good.
better than the blue ones because the blue ones are a strong blue and an easy target for the police

I got a set free with the main beam bulbs I bought (Osram Nightbreakers)
They all match the xenons now too which is what I wanted - got rid of that "yellow" light look!

Nah they were about £3 on ebay i think..
Do u want a photo when its darker tonight?

I bought new sidelights but they arnt very bright theyve got a wicked white/blueish glow but just not very bright, when the xenons are on you cant rele notice that i have sidelights lol

Yeah mine arent the brightest, but they get rid of the yellow look.

oh right, thats cool then my mate's got an R32 and his new LED's are like headlights lol but they look different to the bulbs in the clio, they kinda look like reduced sized baked bean tins, theyve got a flat end and stright body lol wired

In the day they look no different to the standard ones - are they likely to change at night??

i would say they are no different all halogens are yellow really, so the only way you can get a white side light is with led 501's.

i have the blue ones but am now changing for the white ones.

on the led bulbs what amount of led's fit throught the hole? i have four at the moment but want brighter.

Mmmmaybe, i hmade the mistake of buying some 'laser blue' sidelights from halfords, and had the same problem. LEDs give off a better colour tbh
