Sigma 70-300mm for Canon

Bit of a noob, trying to get into Photography a bit :rasp:

Just wondering if anyone has had/has this lens and what its like etc?

Im very poor at the minute, so for the price etc is it OK?

I've got the APO DG, posted above actually I bought it from One Stop too. It's an alright lens, but remember that it's cheap for a reason.

Mostly sharp (see below)
Light
Nice range
Nice aperture
Free hood

Cons
Cheap
Soft at 300mm
Slow

There's probably more but I'm in a rush to go out. All the above said and done this lens has worked well for me track side, including FCS last year and most shows for the previous few years. I's not a patch on L glass but doesn't carry the price tag.
