Im not too clued up on cars tbh, ive been driving a few month, i currently have a pug 106 but looking to buy a clio 182 soon. I have been looking around the net for prices etc, what does Cat D mean ?

It has been written off, and deemed uneconomic to repair IIRC.

Stay away from Cat D's if you dont know what you are doing..

make sure they have four wheels. a steering wheel is also a welcomed option as are windows.Brakes are also a day to day necessity. Apart from that u could be picky and go for a car with paint/bumpers/radio/engine.

well do you want it to go fast and cost lots on fuel, or go slow, look pratically the same and still cost (but not so much) on fuel?

tbh my 106 at moment is a 1.1, im not too bothered about speed, a 1.2 would be good, also low on insurance would be great. Basically want a basic clio, that looks nice, nice to drive.
