Silver V6 Cardiff Prospeed

Mine matey, not long had new system on her but dare I say it, its 2 loud! Charlie is busy redesigning the baffles to try and eradicate the 3k boom! In fairness, the car sounds a beast when you accelerate but when you are cruising around in 6th gear and the engine is revving under 3k you cant hear anything! Knowing Charlie, he will have it perfect when I go back to collect it! Quite enjoying driving around in my cup at the mo, getting used to FWD all over again!

lol i know what u mean about cruising, mines getting a decat soon aswell lol, silenced coz im a pussy!, your V6 could of been crushed btw by a big fuk off lorry, had to run to my car to move it, lucky Charlie was there to giude the guy in a straight line lol

Parked outside prospeed in Cardiff, was down there coz my centre box has cracked
Hows it going Welsh172, you still working in the same place? Looks like I'm having my timing belt changed in a garage right by Pro-speed this month as well, Charlie recommended them, £425. Have you had yours done?
Mine was in there today, though the Mrs took it for me so God knows how many crunched gear changes has been had!!!!!
Had the same problem last Sept with a center box crack. I thought it went again but Charlie said a gasket had gone just after the Cat. So should be all done now. Did he modifi your system when it went?

hey mate, going good ta, hows u? i left/pushed out of my job, so took the pludge and started my own company which is going great
im gonna go down the rentech soon to get my cambelt done, had my car serviced there b4 and Mike is a legend and really knows his stuff as i need a couple of other things done.
am taking my car in for a decat in a week or two :approve: then hopfully some more work after that, see what deal i can work with Charlie lol, hows your car?

was gonna sell mine b4 the job went lol.....but am happier than it that other hell hole lol.....things are getting busy so you never know lol.......will keep imy car for now and do some work on it.......the only place i know of in Cardiff that will do dents in Chips Away probs but could be wrong, they did a few dents on my sister car and did a good job
Rentech are in Portsmouth, so a little treck away but well worth it i think, good prices and good service

yup, its a nightmare lagging sometimes!!
Well after I get my Timing belt changed and recover from the dent in my bank account I'm def lowering it. A list of things that I would like to do after that:
repair the dink on my bonnet, which wrecks me evertime I look at it, it's right on the center at the front (on the line) and I've got 3 mini dinks above my petrol cap. Not sure how much they will all cost to fix?? any ideas?
Front spiltter is a must.
Some rims, so much choice I wouldn't know where to start! and then some engine mods, just small ones tho!
I've just booked a test drive for a 197 in Kidwelly for Sat at 1.30pm, they've got a met red and blue one in with different upgrades. The Mrs is after a new car and she fancies one so we've both got our names down to drive one, believe me I'm going to test drive the sh*t out of it on those A roads!
hope the sales guy isnt a nervous passenger but I really hope he doesnt come with us....please...

Are you thinking off getting any rims? if so would you go for 17's or stick to 16's, I was wondering how much power you would lose on 17's? Mine are scratched from the previous owners!
Your best bet is to ring them before hand and book, they have to take you for a test drive then m8! just dont do a hand brake turn when you pull in lol

lol very true!.......ive been thinking of rims, defo will stick to 16" coz of better handling, plus they look good once your car is lowerd...dunno what though, bit obvious is OZ Superleggeras or Turinis lol........on the other hand i did think or just refurbing my rims, will cost about 200 ish so its a cheaper option!
