Silverstone Japanese Tuning Festival - Drift, time attack etc

Had an awesome day at silverstone today for the Japanese tuning festival, i managed to secure a press pass which ment i got access to some great areas.

There are too many pics to publish so i have just stuck them on my flickr account. i shot 532 pics so there will most definately be more to come. Pics can be enlarged by clicking 'all sizes'

did he it was awesome, you cant apprechiate just how fast they are until it comes passed you about 3ft away from the pit wall. Ive got a few more pics

Lucky git even got paid to drive it! He came 2nd, beaten by another impreza which used NOS resulting in 6 foot flames down the straights apparantly!

i was using a canon 10d with a canon 70-200 F4 L series lens and kenko x1.4 teleconvertor buddy

Thanks. Slightly off topic, how do you find that lens when the light isn't so good? I was considering either the f4 or f2.8, but I ofen shoot in poor light conditions so the f2.8 might well suit me better.
