it's £130 installed from sky, but whats their hard disk size as ebay have some boxes too?
standard sky box is 80gb of personal use, how many programmes is that?

80GB = 40 hours

You also need a dual wire running from the LNB to the back of the box so you would need to buy some of that and run it into the box too if you bought one of t'ebay.

If you know someone who is having sky installed, ask them to tell sky that you referred them, you get a free box & install

The friend offer on the website just seems to be M&S vouchers at the moment.. altho, I'm sure I had something through the post recently which meant free box or similar for recommendations..

You just have to wait for a good offer.. free everything was the Christmas one

Possibly.
They want everyone on Sky+, as they know once you have it, the chances are you'll always want it. I know I would NEVER get rid of it.

Upgrading to HD, they won't do you a deal on though.. full price.. but upgrading normal -> Plus, you *may* get something.

No.

You can record one and watch whatever you want.

If recording 2 you can watch one of the things that is recording or watch something you have already recorded

Because they routinely give out V1 boxes with 40GB drives and without sky anytime compatibility.
