Sky Tv

Check in the services menu, under picture settings that its set to RGB if possible, and make sure that the Scart cable is plugged in the back, marked tv scart and not vcr scart.

If that doesn't work. let me know :)

mine is fooked at the moment. keep losing the signal saying "there is a fault with this channel"

Clart, pull the power lead out the back, then whilst its out, hold the backup button on the box down, then plug it in, and keep holding it down until a message comes up on screen saying updating system software.

That will take roughly 10 minutes.

Usually clears them faults, unless its actually a physical fault

Will doing this delete saved programmes in the sky+ planner? Because mine has a similar fault.

No, it just forces the box, whether it be a standard sky digibox, or sky+ or sky hd box to update to the latest software version.

Alot of the problems are caused by the box getting currupt software during automatic software updates.

There is a full system reset that basically formats the hard disk in the sky+ boxes, but you won't need to do that

If you had a proper Sky engineer install it then he should have made sure it was displaying correctly...?
