Sleepy rev limiter...

Cruising home from the ring this morning and my rev limiter allowed almost 7000RPM in 5th a couple times! Strange that it was working on the track, but it seems to allow the revs to climb if cruising at less than WOT on the open road.

Its set to 7 grand regardless of gear mate. Well a standard 16v is anyway.

Its a Willy with a 6500RPM limiter. Sometimes it will sneak past and then cut back but today it was very generous. Or asleep!
