Sleeved decat

Will any sleeved decat fit my 182 piper catback? Thanks

sleeved might not be the correct term, i mean like the miltek style where the decat slides inside the midsection then clamped up....

Is your centre section sleeved? If so, no. Post a picture if you are unsure.

Its a piper catback its currently got the olive bung in so its joined to a scorpion decat, I'm wanting to do away with the olive joint so once ive removed the bung from midsection I'm left with no joint, I'm wanting to no if the milltek decat will fit ie the correct length and which other decats will also fit

You would have to do it properly at an exhaust place, I'm having mine done tomorrow... I've currently got a sleeved Milltek decat fitted to my Milltek exhaust.

The Milltek exhaust is wider where it joins, then it goes back down to 2.5". This allows the decat to slide partly in so that it is sleeved.

I'm having the cat put back on, the olive join chopped off and straight pipe welded on. My Milltek is widened as mentioned so will allow for this, I don't think yours will be if it has the olive join as standard but it could be adapted at a decent exhaust place. It seems that all 182 systems that aren't sleeved blow :dapprove:

No the olive bung is inside the midsection and is removable. The piper decat slides inside midsection then uclamped. Just wondering if any other decats will fit as piper decat is £72 thanks

Miltek will fit it, so long as your pipe is 2.5"
