slick tyre prices??

  200 cup/Btm'd ph1
Having run 888 on track for a while i dont think there worth the money that toyo are asking for them. Just wondering how much slicks are in 19/57-15.

Is anybody running silverstone FTZ slicks?

so how long would they last compared to gg 888, because iv just got 2 days out of my fronts!!

Iv got quoted £100+vat a corner for the silverstone slicks which sounds very good now.

s9b are a hard compound, can't comment on how long they last, but i know they need working up to temp to get the grip out of them

suppose it's up to the driver if they compromise some grip for tyre life

I know ideally i should run 19/57-15, but can get a set of 18/58-15 for a really good price would they be ok to run?

yeh they are ok to run

i'm by no means an expert but i think the only downfall to using thinner tyres is you are educing the surface contact area with the tarmac

i also assume that when you get beyond 180's you are risking pulling the tyre off the rim (obv dependant on the width of the rim mind)
