slight popping from cold

When i drive off after having my car parked up at work all day i can make the car pop slightly.

By pop i mean the noise you get after giving the throttle a blip then ease off, during the drop in speed it whilst resting my foot on the throttle i can get it popping here and there.

Strangely it does this for a bit then about a mile up the road its gone.

build up of fuel or something perhaps?

my 182 used to do this from cold...once it warms up a tad it disappears. don't know what technically causes it though.

My 172 does this when the engine is cold, and its far worse on 95RON fuel than 97 or above. Kinda cool really lol

Yeah all 3 of mine have done it. Just when cold, slightly rich mixture as if on choke is my thoughts on it

yea mine does it sounds mint lol wish it did it all the time and not just when cold.
