Slight Windows 7 issue.

When windows 7 goes into hibernation (set at an hour) it seems to log windows live out... then doesn't let me log in? I open up task manager and it appears its already running and showing so i have to then end both of them, and sign in again.

Any idea?

When you say log windows live out do you mean log you out of messenger or close the program as you make it sound as the program has closed but its not on the taskbar; When you say it doesn't log in does it give you a sign in error?
When your computer goes into hibernation it cuts of power this therefore will disable your wireless adapter or network card therefore you get will get disconnected.

I assume it just logs me, as it is still running in task manager - however if when i open up messanger it opens up another 1 so i have 2 runnning.

If it disables my network adapter than that would be why.

Yea it does give an error code (forgot it tho). If i want to sign in wihtout closing the other messanger via task manager i can do ipconfig/flushdns via cmd and it works then.

Hibernation completely powers down everything, so yes, it will 'disable' the network adaptor. It's the same as shutting Windows down. The only difference being when you power-on, Windows loads an image of what was in working memory, rather than booting afresh.

I disable any form of power-saving/hibernation on every PC I use. To me, they are either on or they are off. Can't stand the hibernation feature myself!
