Slightly Peeved Off !! After Owning the car for 2 months now i was just sorted to get eveything put on it over the weekend but then 1 0f the coils went which is apparetly common in Clio's. So .......

Iv spent 250 on tyres 200 on alloys (which are dirty in the pic!)400 on number plate 100 on springs plus 100 on fittin and planing to get it colour coded! O and 172 grill from Dealer This very day, going to pu them All on this weekend! But i cant because car wont be done till monday, awell at least i got a year warrenty when i brought it!

One good thing was that while waiting for the man to come, two blonds went buy in a car and then slowed down went round the block and then on the 2nd time they past slowed right down and was like "my mate fancys you"I Just smilled and then they relised i was standing next to my mum! they looked embarresed and drove off! :star:

Let me get this right.

a coil went and you had your car towed away?

at what point didnt you think, ill go to GSF get a coil, take the screw out and put the new one in.

i changed 12 coils on my 1.4 so you might as well get use to doing it!

Different story! Coils arent too much of an issue, get them changed. Wheels looks good.

super common problem and most garages recommend you change all 4 if one goes as they will probably go 1 by 1

get used to the coils goin mate.. have a back stock of 'em if i were u.

not sure why u had it towed, and will take til monday? it takes 30 seconds lol - make sure u dont get ripped off mate

I only got it towed to the garrage because last time this happened to me in my mums megane they said i should not drive any further. Got a years warrenty so didnt cost me a penny. Aparently its a very very common problem! But a cheap one at that!

Good colour mate . My coils went on my 1.6 the other month, spent like £80 on new coils only to find out that I had been sold faulty coils ...On a 1.2 its a coil pack, but on a 1.4/1.6 its individual pencil coils...it was funny driving around for a bit with no power though!

Yea was really lucky tbh, got them for £90 without tyres, then got quoted 360 to refurb and get them sprayed black. but got it done for £100 which was a touch! and then spunked 250 on low pro tyres! so over all around £450 !!
