Slightly rough idle

I've recently purchased a 182 and found that at idle, the engine is a tad rough. Is this normal? I've had 3 previous 172's and can't remember the idling hunting ever so slighty.

Any advice on this guys?

mine idles quite poor as well!!!! especially with the AC on.lot of people seem to have this problem. apparently running it on higher octane petrol cures it to an extent but personally i cant be bothered/cant comment because i have never tried it.

I run mine on Shell Vpower, and it still feels like it runs rough on idle. The trick is, to drive everywhere quickly so it never sits on idle!
