Mine looks the same. I find reception varies in different places, drive to uni is as normal, but to work it starts to crackle a lot.

I've got a C2 one but it only goes on for shows etc!

I listen to the radio way too much for the reception to be that bad all the time!

mercedes vaneo ones are shortest and don't p1ss up the reception

bought a short 'show' one from halfords ages ago. reception not as good as original but hardly ever have any problems.

went back to the civic one even though the pug one does look good - poor reception was doing my head in.
