Smaller front plate

Smaller front plate ok so I've seen Threads already but not really what I'm looking for ,

What's the size of the front plate that's smaller than the legal one ?

How much does it cost to have one made up and where from ?

Also any pics would be fab

I got pulled yesterday for my smaller plate. £60 fine and then £30 because my front tints were 7% above legal.

Yh. He had some gadget. Put's a bit either side of the window and then it gives a reading.

We compared the text size of my normal plate (which I still have in the boot) and the plate on my car and I pretty much questioned why it was wrong to have my plate on. It then went on from there.

They are illegal. Did you not know that?

Due to the size of the text iirc. ANPR scanners and traffic cameras cannot/may not read it correctly iirc

Yh I did know it. I didn't like him and he had pissed me off so I got cocky. Just after he let me get out his car after breatherlising me to drive away me he goes "Oh you have tints, I'm going to check them".

i got stopped in my very very loud and low throttle boddies 1.6 thats logbooked as a 1.2, just said its a very loud 1.2 all noise and no go, he giggled and gave me a producer. nice man

I was being nice to him. I accepted that I had illegal plates etc. Didn't argue nothing. And then as I got out the car he just decided to be a dick, test my tints, write me a fine and then I got cocky with him.

I'm not overly fussed about smaller/cooler plates, but I run a smaller one on the front because I drive a stupid Japanese car that a UK plate doesn't fit properly. If I got pulled this would be my answer, fine or no fine lol
