Smaller rad fans for ITB's

As you can see from the picture the plastic fan is touching the sausage filter.

Can i run a smaller more powerfull fan so it wont touch the filter. I will eventually get a smaller rad to do with the fan but for now i just wanted to no if it can be done this way.

Where can you get smaller rans from too, and will it have the same connector?

He had a custom one made iirc....

Maybe others aswell but not to sure tbh matey. I trimmed the plastic on the fan down to stop any friction

Were fitted to my standard rad on the 1600 and worked a treat

you should be able to fit a 12" single there, many brands and suppliers are available for these... shop about and read the spec as some of the cheap ones are poor.

I had a 10" Pacet, you need to watch the CFM though..standard is like 1400 iirc my pacet was only 1100 but never had any issues.

Spal would be worth a look, they make a lot of high performance compact fans. Check the CFM rates under load to- some brands aren't too good!
