Snapped Car Key in Ignition

So earlier on I snapped the top part of my car key in the ignition, its only about the top 0.7mm that snapped off!

I also dont have a spare key to get a new one cut from.

Whats my options? I can still start and drive the car but the key is stuck in the ignition.

Any help is greatly appreiciated

Pull it out with a pair of pliers.

it is right down the bottom of the ignition and only about half a (cm) of key is still stuck!

If it doesn't affect it, leave it in there.

Otherwise, new lock set time...

what i did when i snapped mine on my bike was get it out with small pliers/2 biggish pins, then took the whole broken key to a key cutter and he did one within the day

Strong pins or large paper clips and alot of patients

Leave it in there, as long as the rest of the key isn't bent/fractured you will be fine.

RIGHT SO BITOF AN UPDATE.

MY STEEERING LOCK HAS WENT ON AND NOW WHEN I INSERT MY KEY I CAN GET IT TO RELEASE AT ALL THE STEERING LOCK SEEMS TO BE JAMMED!
