Snapped clutch cable

  Hondata'd EP3 Type R
I snapped my clutch cable, how difficult is this to repair for a n00b, who isnt that good with mehanics? The car is a mk2 phase1 clio, any guides, or shall I just buy a haynes?

Is this a time consuming job?

thanks

Just buy a Haynes.

Best idea is when you unclip it down in the foot well tie a bit of string to it and so when you pull it out under the bonney you can use it to pull the new one back.

Not a hugly difficult job bit of a pain.

wouldnt think anymore than £20 for fitting, its £30 i think for a new one i snapped mine only took 5 mins to fit but the engine was out at the time so that kinda helped, took me about 15 mins to do a mates with the engine in, bit of poking and fiddling about!
