I know they're not worth alot but are they actually any good? I usually just wash with Zip Wax and a sponge but thinking of getting one as it seems less work
snow foams a product not an item so not sure what your on about? do you mean a pressure washer with a foam lance that produces the foam?
i think there good (i have one) but it doesnt clean the car to spotless. it just gets rid of the top layer of crap. i did mine yesterday in between showers and its better but still looks like it needs a wash. thats with a good few coats of wax on aswell.
My understanding was it's an attachment to go onto my Karcher. It holds a container which when spraying covers my car in soap stuff which you leave on for 5 mins or so then to wash off.
I don't bother on my own car - if you have a decent LSP product on your car, any decent pressure washer will do the same thing, unless your car is exceptionally covered in crap.
For Customers' cars I tend to use it, but normally to get good coverage of shampoo so that I can work it in on plastics etc, before hand washing. It looks good too.
Any effective ones are normally too potent for their own good; they will degrade your wax/sealant quicker than if you don't snow foam. Anything mild enough, won't shift more than your pressure washer anyway...
i use it and rate it highly. my arguement for it is, the more dirt you can remove by not touching the painwork with a wash mitt is good, as less dirt = less chance of marking painwork.
