and that one site proves what? Its just a random site on the internet.

Like i said, the guy asked for opinions and i gave him mine, the fact that i get great download speeds, have never had a problem with their support having used it and don't get traffic shaped that i can tell when i'm downloading torrents at my max speed possible then how can i be wrong?????

just because I make some comedy comments to make the idiots who keyboard warrior and trawl the forum to make snide comments, that doesn't make me an idiot, it just shows what people on here think, I have said it before, there are too may people on here who think they know it all and aren't willing to listen to anyone elses opinion.

Its pretty immature of you to add a comment on me being ghey, that really is pretty pathetic and shows what a loser you must be to even post such a thing.

i'm glad i am off for two weeks from tomorrow and won't have to read some of the boring and pathetic comments you normally make as you really do know how to be a little child, shown merely from the ghey comment.

I am not even going to mod you for that, i'm going to leave it to show people how immature you really are.

ok, only reason i haven't commented further is cos i've been busy with work this week.

bt broadband, bt wholesale, and bt openreach are all totally separate entities. bt wholesale provision the broadband services, bt openreach fix physical faults, and bt broadband are middle men who just sell and support a service.

Ollie was on AOL and they were retards and couldn't sort out a fault with his line.

He moves to Nildram and I got him sorted out within a week when i didn't even work there anymore.

I don't tend to comment in "recommend me an ISP" threads anymore cos obviously everyone is gonna recommend the ISP that they are with.

Personally there are only a few isp's nowadays that i'd touch.

Zen, Nildram, and possibly the Entanet resellers if i had no other choice.

i'm sure people won't mind you recommending the isp you used to work for if they are good, if you don't work for them and still recommend them then it shows they must be pretty good.

I haven't slagged off anyone elses choice of ISP they have recommended people might like to notice though!

I know about the bt brands, they still are all bt brands though, they were separated for a reason ofcourse.

are there any isp's not already or not planning to implement traffic shaping though?

they have to because of people like us that download a lot more than the average user. We cost them money, they don't make any money out of us, its not good for business.

500gb is taking a piss a little on an adsl service.

£20 a month covers their costs for around 7gb bandwidth.

it works on the basis that low usage customers subsidise high usage customers. when you use 500gb then it will take hundreds and hundreds of low usage customers just to subsidise you, letalone make the isp a profit.

they would be glad to see the back of you.

haha.. Im scottish I like to get my monies worth.

I pay almost £40 a month on VM, and to be fair an averege month is probably about 100Gig now.. (used to be much worse).

There is no way 7GB costs them that much !

Dk I have no issues with you adding your 2p worth to this or any thread, but when it's clear you're out of your depth, and you're recommending a frankly woeful ISP well that's when people who can see your mistakes are likely to step in and attempt to correct you.

BT are nothing but an average ISP who rely on their other services to promote their ISP because the majority of the population prefer the easy life, and no little on the subject - I'd expect the normal demographic of BT users to be 30+, no particularly savvy, and qualify as light users.
