Sold My Clio

Ive got someone coming round tomorow as ive sold my clio, As its the first time ive sold a car im not sure what ive got to get from him apart from the money, or if i have to get him to sign anything

Anyone got any advice

Get a peice of paper which says car was sold on date and time, also car was sold as seen on it as well and get him to sign a copy.

And if you want to transfer the log book over for him, you have to get him to fill it out.

take his money and keep the log book, then u can claim the car back at a later date

You'll also need his address etc so you can fill out the change of owner on the V5C
