Looking for 182
Hi all,
Ok, so here are some things which are going on with my car right now:
- The ride seems A LOT more harsh than normal. Bumps in the road really seem to shake the car. I'm on OEM shocks with Eibach Sportline springs. My first thought is the shocks need replacing, but I'm not sure which.
- There is a very odd creak/knock when I am turning sharply at slow speeds. Or when pulling away in a straight line slowly, only really happens when the car is under strain, ie. going uphill
- When turning sharply at slow speeds, it feels like the wheels are 'skipping'. I don't know how else to describe this, but the front wheels feel like they are slipping sideways slightly, which is accompanied with a weird 'rubber on tarmac' kind of knock/creak.
So, I'm thinking I definitely need new front/rear shocks. I'll go to a garage to get this confirmed.
However I am unsure if worn shocks could also cause the other two points above, or could this be something else?

EDIT: I've got it booked in for a checkup on the 29th at a local garage. I just wondered if people could help me with a few things I should ask them to check
