some mug smashed into me!!!!

  Audi S3 225
im so mad some idiot boyracer racing around the bluewater carpark didnt see me and smashed right into the side of my car just as i was leaving the carpark, the blokes lucky hes alive i wanted to murder him!

i was approuching the exit when from the right of me i see this car come from nowhere and instead of stopping and giving way he just plowed straight into me, thing is the ailse he was coming down the arrows where pointing the oppistie direction!!!! I was going around 20mph and i reckon he must have hit me at around 40+, luckly i had my seatbelt on!

Anyway heres some pics the front wheels buckled, front wing cracked and scratched, door is destroyed rear panel dents and scratches and rar bumber scratches, as well as both alloys scratched. My airbag in my seat went off as well, are they expensive to repair?

Im alright tho but thinking about milking it saying ive got whiplash, my ears still ringing from the impact or maybe the airbag going off not sure? Anything else i can easily claim as his insurance will eb paying out not mine.

SUE the mother f**ker......

Nuff said! If he was speeding in a carpark he deserves to be creamed for every penny you can get!!

In a way hes lucky he hit another car and NOT a child running out from in between a car!

Airbags going off in the seat is not good. I've had two go and each time it was near enough 2K to get it sorted as the whole seat back has to be replaced. Really sorry about the accident hope it get sorted.

Yes it does. The sill doesn't appear to be damaged in which case the damage is minimal. So long as everything thats damaged is replaced then it will be good as new.

I'm not talking about physical value here...

Besides never good to have a crash on the history of the car.

What are you talking about then? And no one will ever know its been in a crash if the owner doesn't mention it.

sorry to hear your story, but if your gonna "milk" the insurance, then boasting about it on an open forum which the other party could easily read isnt a wise decision :)

i hope everything ends up ok, im sure it will.

Hey guys thanks for the reply’s, i got all his details and he was insured, he had a 05 206, the police got involved took all details and even asked if i wanted to press charges, some reason i said no! his whole front end was destroyed, bits of his bumper everywhere, i only had to pick up my side doorstrip.

Really hope they can fix it, I had looked after my car so much, spent thousands on services and getting fixed, replacing parts etc. Thing is car was only on 40k as well, still a young'un for an x reg 172.

Oh well, getting either a new type r or a golf gti on Monday for courtesy car, can’t wait.

Was thinking exactly the same - smash a few extra panels make sure it is , better than a repaired car

Not a pleasant experience

Were you the guy at FCS with the batman logo in the window. my girlfriend shouting "Aye Batman"lol

Seriously bad luck that. I'd be sooo mad if someone did that to me when they were just being stupid and going too fast in a car park.

This would have been a better way to get at him rather than trying to get more money out of insurance - can't you phone the police and say you've changed your mind - weren't thinking clearly at the time due to shock or something. Get him done for dangerous driving and speeding or something.

After all, what does he care how much you claim off his insurance? His premiums will go up the same regardless of amount you claim wont they?

Its similar to when someone breaks into your car never feels the same, may not to you but its just a feeling people get.

He may not but all the potential buyer needs to do s get the cars checked out, a lot of people do this now.

  S2000
unlucky mate, but don't go milking it for whiplash etc if you've not got anything wrong. At the end of the day it makes no difference to the guy who crashed into you and it's people doing that sort of thing that pushes everyones insurance up.
