I have just bought a j reg 16 valver, (2 days ago), and am having a bit of difficulty.
Driving home from work today and it started misfiring, when i got home,i let it idle, gave a bit of a rev, misfired, and i could here a humming noise from the back, gave it another rev the humming noise went away and it was fine. Havent taken it for another spin yet,
I thought it may be a dodgy fuel pump, or maybe a dirty fuel filter, causing the pump to work harder creating the humming noise, but i maybe wrong.
Is the pump in the tank or not.
Is changing the filter quite easy because it looks to me like nothing is easy on this car lol.
There is a couple of other things i want to get sorted on the car. but i dont want to put a big list up yet!
